Visa is one of the first things you will need when you want to travel abroad. Vietnam Tours-online is pleased to offer you professional visa services at competitive prices and in a timely manner.

There are two options to get Vietnam Visa:

  • Visa on arrival at Vietnam international airports
  • Visa approval code (Visa issued at Vietnam Embassies and Consulates abroad)

Visa Approval Code is the visa issued by Vietnam Embassies or Consulates abroad prior to your trip to Vietnam.

We’ll send you a form requesting basic information (full name, passport details and so on). You will need to fill in one form for each person and send them to us. We will then apply for the visas at the Immigration Department in Hanoi. This Department will issue a Visa Approval Letter in 2 to 3 working days and will fax it to the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in your country or elsewhere convenient to you. We will then notify you to send your passports to the Embassy by post with a cheque to pay for the visa stamp. Alternatively, you can pick up your visas in person at the embassy if it's convenient to you. Please note that the visa stamp fee will be decided by the Vietnamese Embassies or Consulates abroad.

This visa takes time to process since you are required to send the visa application & passport to the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate of your selection but this guarantees your entry to Vietnam and a fast check-in at the airport.

Visa on Arrival is the visa picked up at international airports in Vietnam. This type of visa is now being widely used since it is the easiest way to get a visa without having to apply for it at the Vietnamese Embassies or Consulates abroad. This visa is quite convenient for those who are travelling or reside far away from the Vietnamese Embassies or Consulates.

To arrange for this visa, we will ask you for the same passport information. Once we receive the Visa Approval Letter from the Immigration Department, we will send it to you by fax or by e-mail with a scanned copy. You will need to bring this letter with you while travelling since it is considered as your visa to Vietnam. Upon arrival at the Vietnam airport, you will need to pick up the visa form near the Immigration checkpoints and fill in the details before you queue for immigration. With this form together with the visa letter and your 02 color photos, you will get a visa stamp on your passport upon payment for the visa stamp fee.

VISA EXEMPTION:

Visas are exempted for the citizens of the countries, which have signed a bilateral or unilateral visa exemption agreement with Vietnam.

  • Not more than 30 days: for citizens of Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia,  Singapore, Indonesia and Laos.
  • Not more than 15 days: for citizens of Japan and South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Russia.
  • Not more than 90 days for Vietnamese Overseas
