Hanoi - Son La - Dien Bien Phu - Tam Duong - Lai Chau - Ba Be - Cao Bang - Lang Son - Halong bay 

Day 02: Hanoi - Son La (B, L, D)

After breakfast, transfer to Son La. The road to Son La is lined with fruit orchards, tea plantations, towering mountains and the traffic of Black Thai, Mea, Muong and White Thai hill tribe people heading to markets. Arrive Son La, Check in hotel. Over night in Son La.

Day 03: Son La - Dien Bien Phu (B, L, D)

After breakfast, We visit the Prison Museum, which remains as a poignant reminder of the inequities of the former French colonial rule. Transfer to Dien Bien Phu, the last bastion of French power in Indochina. Monuments, museums and preserved bunkers tell the story of the final and victorious liberating battle of 1954. On the way, we can visit some markets of ethnic minority with colorful dressing. Arrive Dien Bien, check in hotel.  Overnight at hotel in Dien Bien Phu.

Day 04: Dien Bien Phu - Lai Chau - Tam Duong ( B, L, D)

After breakfast, We will visit A1 Hill, where bitter fighting took place, visit Dien Bien museum. Transfer to Tam Duong. Sometimes steep and often rugged, the road through the Lai Chau valley is both breathtaking and dramatic. Hugging rice terraced mountainsides and fording turbulent rivers, our travels today are visually spectacular. Stop on the way in Lai Chau for lunch. Arrive in Tam Duong at late afternoon. Check in hotel, overnight in Tam Duong.

Day 05: Tam Duong - Sapa ( B, L, D)

After breakfast, we visit the market in Tam Duong and have lunch here. Then continue to Sapa. Arrive Sapa in the afternoon. Check in hotel, free time. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 06: Sapa ( B, L, D)

After breakfast, transfer to Lao Chai & Tavan villages to see the daily life of H'Mong people.  Continue to visit Ban Ho giving you a chance of taking impressive photos. Back in Sapa for overnight.

Day 07: Sapa - Fansipan ( B, L, D)

After breakfast, spend the entire day to climb up to Tram Ton pass on the north side of Fansipan Moutain.  At 1900m, it has magnificent views for taking pictures. In the evening, visit Sapa's unique Love market of ethnic minorities which takes place every Saturday. Over night in Sapa.

Day 08: Sapa - Ba Be Lake ( B, L, D)

After breakfast,  transfer to Ba Be, a large natural lake set in limestone cliffs and surrounded by limestone and lowland evergreen forests. After checking into 'homestay' in Pac Ngoi village, we will have free time in Ba Be. Overnight in Ba Be.

Day 09: Ba Be - Cao Bang ( B, L, D)

After breakfast, we will visit the beauty of Ba be lakes on the local canoe, glide along the river and through the pretty cave, the tranquil Ba Be lakes for its majesty. Lunch in a local family's stilt house. Transfer to Cao Bang. Arrive Cao Bang, check in hotel. Overnight in Cao Bang.

Day 10: Cao Bang - Ban Gioc ( B, L, D)

On this day you'll take a scenic in insightful day trip north of Cao Bang to the beautiful Ban Gioc waterfall on the Chinese border. This picturesque, cascading waterfall is 53 meters high and has an impressive span of 300 meters. The drive there offers unique landscapes, limestone karst formations soar from the verdant rice paddies of the surrounding farms of local ethnic minorities. Along the way, you'll see Tay, Hmong and Dzao ethnic minority groups. Heading back to Cao Bang, stop to explore the expansive 2,144 meter Nguom Ngao Cavern to discover its brilliant stalactites. Return to Cao Bang for overnight.

Day 11: Cao Bang - Lang Son ( B, L, D)

After breakfast, transfer to Lang Son. On the way, we will visit some historical monuments in Dong Khe and That Khe. Lunch and dinner at restaurant. Arrive Lang Son, check in hotel. Overnight in Lang Son.

Day 12: Lang Son - Halong - Overnight on cruise ( B, L, D)

After breakfast, transfer to Halong through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive Halong, board on traditional deluxe sailing junk and have lunch on board with local fresh seafood. Start a fantastic cruise in Halong bay and sightseeing to Dog Island, Incense Urn Island, Fighting Coq Island, Finger Island, Hoa Cuong Island and explore the mystery of Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave). Enjoy a swim in the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay at any spot that you wish to visit. Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner. Overnight on board .

Day 13: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L, D)

 Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising to visit Man's head island, Tortoise island, Bai Tu Long bay. After another wonderful fresh seafood lunch on board, disembark at the dock at Ha Long City. Transfer back to Hanoi by road. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 14: Hanoi - Departure ( B)

A good opportunity to do some photograph tour in Hanoi before transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for your ongoing flight.
